You know those jars you’re saving, the ones with leftover candle wax from a burnt away candle in a jar. Wait, you save them too, right? Tell me I’m not the only one. Well today is the day to send them on their way! Say so long to the gross and dusty citronella candle in the garage and the tiny tea light you never use.

Actually in my house the only real candles I have are birthday candles. For simplicity and safety I switched to flameless candles. They turn on at the same time every day, they stay lit for a few hours before turning themselves off. No smoke, no panicking that I left it on, and no worrying that Holly (the dog) might knock it over. These are my favorite candles.
