National Drive-Thru Day

National Drive-Thru Day

To celebrate National Drive-Thru Day let’s declutter the take-out drawer. You know the one with crumpled packets of ketchup and old mayo. And it probably is overstuffed with plastic silverware and tiny envelopes of salt & pepper.

What To Do With Them

Many food banks and food pantries accept and appreciate the still good packets and excess utensils. If you eat in your car, keep some in the glove box. Add a few to your summer fun tote bag to have what you need when you grab and go like go to catch an outdoor concert.

What NOT To-Do

Stop bringing them home! If you have enough you can skip collecting more. You already have bottles of ketchup and a drawer filled with silverware.
