With so many choices, you may be wondering, what is the most popular hot dog topping? Although I can’t say what the number one pick is, I can tell you my favorite hot dog topping.
The most popular hot dog topping in my house
Ready, here it is: a mix of apricot preserves and deli mustard with crushed potato chips. Before you stop reading, hear me out. It’s sweet, salty, and delicious.
Aside from eating a hot dog. Here are three ways to celebrate National Hot Dog Day:
1. Today is National Hot Dog Day! So, why not give it a try? Eating a hot dog today is a fun way to celebrate.
2. Ditch the hot dog maker. Seriously, rethink it if you have one of those countertop appliances designed just to heat up hot dogs. There are so many ways to make a hot dog, grill, sauté pan, boil, all come to mind.
3. Sort through condiments. How old is that mustard? When did you open that ketchup? It’s time to check the expiration dates. And just to be clear, this includes sorting through the crumpled take-out packets lost in the way back of the kitchen drawer.
