What to do with an old radio

What to do with an old radio

Today is National Radio Day! Let’s talk radios, here’s what to do with an old radio – the one that’s been sitting in your basement for ten years.

1 Check if it has value

Some old radios have value, look them up at GoAntiques.

2 Donate it

If it is still in working order, consider donating it. Here’s where to donate things.

3 Give it away

Some people like to tinker with radios, you can share them with people who can fix radios. List it on a buy nothing group.

If none of these work, you can recycle radios responsibly. Most towns host a hazardous waste disposal day. Mark your calendar and drop it off.
