Where do you put store receipts? If the answer is bottom of your bag, overflowing wallet, pants pocket – then maybe place a box near the door to toss them. Then discard from the bottom (older) as needed.
If you need to track receipts for reimbursement or returns or reconciling monthly statements – try a mini accordion file. Sort them by month or by category or by credit card used for the purchase. A receipt spike will also get the job done, slip them on so they stay in one place. I staple the receipt for purchases under warranty to the warranty booklet so if/when I need it, it should be there. This is my favorite way to store instruction booklets and warranty info.
