National Deviled Egg Day

Happy National Deviled Egg Day! My Mom’s trick for easy to peel hard boiled eggs was to submerged the cooked eggs in an ice bath immediately after boiling. I still do this and I think it works great. What’s your trick? Oh, and I always peel starting at the bottom.

Onto the declutter item of the day: donate unused egg trays. You know the ones with the divots to carry eggs to a party. If you use them only in the spring, then consider storing them with the spring decorations.

I always make mine with minced green olive or a squeeze of dill pickle relish and I sprinkle them with a dusting of paprika. How about you? Are you a fan of Deviled Eggs?
